Sporting activities in Ibiza

Sporting activities in Ibiza

As you probably know, Ibiza has so much more to offer than just a party scene. A healthy active lifestyle is something that comes natural to many of the locals. So why not get on board and enjoy the island in a new fun way.

Mountain biking

Jump on a mountain bike if you are looking for a more active holiday. Ibiza has a lot of beautiful bike tracks all over the island.

You can find many bike tours all year around, however we do recommend autumn, winter and spring as summer can be too hot. However if you get up very early (before the sun) or you are an experience rider then you will be ok for all year.

Going through the rustic nature on a bike is a great way to experience the island. This will give you a change to reach and experience places where you otherwise only can get to on a horse back. Sure to amaze.

Contact Kandani bikes for info on their guided tours and to rent of bike.

Are you a golf player ?

Ibiza unfortunately only has one golf club right now. Roca Llisa golf club is located in the area near Cala Llonga. The club offers a relaxed 9-hole course with a nice lush green view and a more challenging 18-hole course. You can buy snacks and drinks in the club house or enjoy a lunch from the Mediterranean menu.

Ibiza golf club is open all year around from 8:00 to 19:30

Yoga, a treat for body and mind.

Find your inner strength and harmony through yoga with one of the numerous great yoga teacher on the island. You can join a group or have a private class at home.
We love Awa’s studio which is located in Hotel Xereca near Ibiza town. She offers a variety of yoga forms including pilates for beginners and advanced. She will also come to your villa.

There is also Open Space near Santa Gertrudis, a beautiful studio surrounded by nature. Here you will find mostly locals enjoying classes of yoga and meditation. James, which is our favourite teacher there will also come to your house for private classes.

Stand up paddle boarding

Paddle boarding is such a fun way to be active and at the same time a great opportunity for exploring the beautiful coastline of Ibiza. You can visit small caves and enjoy the sea with a bit of snorkelling or even join a paddle board yoga class.

There are plenty of great options from one of the many guided stand up paddle board companies on the island.
